Cheer for Charity (C4C) is a regional cheerleading competition in Delaware and expanded to New Jersey in January 2016, and then to Maryland in 2017. Cheer for Charity began in 2006 to raise funds for the Nemours Partnership for Children’s Health, benefiting the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. Since its inception, the cheerleading competition has raised more than $310,000 for the hospital.
Cheer for Charity is excited to now be working with the Casey Cares Foundation to help benefit families. Casey Cares helps keep families' spirits high by arranging programming - whether it's a simple movie night and a fresh pair of pajamas or attending a major sporting event - Casey Cares makes life a lot better by adding a personal touch throughout the year and making lasting memories for families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and portions of the Midwest.
